2017:  On 2/13/01, a visitor asked: Jesus Christ says about in eternal life that "...in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven."  Why do you, Mormons, say that a ajor part of the gospel is eternal marriage? for it is clearly not biblical.

He keeps bring up a Discovery Channel program which showed a group of LDS settlers in Utah slaughtering a wagon train of pioneers heading west. Apparently the LDS settlers dressed up like Native Americans and ambushed the westward pioneers. Can you please clarify this subject so that I may clear my brother's mind of any misconceptions brought on by this program?

2009:  On 2/11/01, Melissa asked:  I am told Mormons believe all the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible as well as the Book of Mormon, but I also know that LDS believe in eternal marriages.  But as I was reading my own Bible in Matthew 22:23-30, the Sadducees ask Jesus whose wife a woman will be if she marries multiple men, and Jesus answers them that "in the resurrection they neither marry or are given to marriage, but are like the angels."  Therefore, the Book of Mormon and the Bible appear to be in contradiction.  Which is right?
