How do I help girls with
non-member parents?

Introduce yourself to the parents.

Give your phone number and address to them.

Give a calendar of events to the parents.

Explain what the programs goals are. Explain how the program will help their daughter.

Make sure parents know where their daughters are, when they are going to be home, who they are with, how to reach them, etc. Make sure that they are comfortable with the activity.

Try to be prompt. If you say you'll take a girl home at 8:45, do it. Be trustworthy.

Invite the parents to participate in activities. Don't pressure them, but make them feel welcome.

Invite the Spirit to be with you when you talk to them. If you feel prompted, bear your testimony to them.
