LDS Business College
LDS Business College, located in Salt Lake City, Utah as provided students with practical career preparation. Karl G. Maeser, the first president of LDS Business College, started with 86 students when he opened the school in 1886. Now students come from around the world to attend the school.

Classes average about 18 with some as few as six, which gives students plenty of one-on-one with faculty. Students earn associate degrees in accounting, business, computers, health services, interior design and office management. Students also may earn an associate degree in general education to transfer to a four-year university. The Career Services Center assists students with lifetime job placement and has maintained a 95-percent placement rate for the past decade.
The college was founded by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as part of the worldwide LDS Church Education System. Members of the First Presidency and other General Authorities regularly address students. Leaders of the business community also speak at forums and devotionals throughout the year.
